Naïm has evolved over the six years we've inhabited this old Queenslander, but two things have remained constant; a love of food and friends.
Owner B.J. Wall began as a guest back in 2014, when we were called Shouk Cafe. It quickly became his favourite local, and his friendship with the founders grew over the years. Now B.J. runs the venue alongside Head Chef and co-owner, Vince Estacio.
Vince hails from San Francisco, formerly a chef of Michelin starred restaurant, Mourad. Vince's approach to food is playful yet practical. He is focused on a contemporary style of dining with a modern Middle Eastern approach.
These two, along with our General Manager, Felipe, are pushing Naïm into its next chapter. Felipe's focus is on connecting with people, and his devotion to a friendly environment and a good experience is unmatched.
Just like our name says, we want you to feel at ease here.
Food and friends. These are the things we love, and we're trying to infuse as much of that into Naim as we can. We trust you'll enjoy it too.
